Winter in the Poconos | Looks + Recap

I've been dreaming of a white Christmas and my wish certainly came true in the Poconos. Amongst the pine tree forest are quaint houses, frozen lakes and sprightly deer, bear and their adorable cubs. The perfect setting for a winter getaway. There's nothing like family time in a winter cabin huddled together around the fire place. The cottage was booked using Airbnb which is one of my favorite ways to find accommodations. Morning walks in the surrounding woods were absolutely picturesque and evoked reflections on the past year. Day one's OOTD was a simple look styled around my off white Boohoo trench coat

There are lots of fun activities to do outside of your lodging in the Poconos. My top recommendation is to visit Camelback mountain which offers many snow sports such as skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing. I honestly had so much fun snowtubing down the slopes with my sister Arielle although we were such babies the first time down.

There are many other activities to do around the town. My family and I went bowling but the customer service was subpar to say the least. Besides Camelback mountain, I enjoyed visits to Crossings Outlet Mall (which had incredible sales by a few of my favorite designers) and Kalahari Resort.  Kalahari resort has many activities for all members of the family. Inside Kalahari,we dinned at a restaurant called Brandberg Food and Drink to celebrate a few birthdays and our time together as a family. The food, service and ambiance were exquisite. Kalahari also has an indoor water park so if you're looking for a taste of summer in the midst of the wintry Poconos I recommend either staying at the resort or getting a day pass.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Poconos and creating these memories with my family made it even more special.
